CSCA - Call for Nominations

The Central States Communication Association Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for two positions. Please take a moment to consider whether you or someone you know would make a good candidate!

2nd Vice President: Once elected, the successful candidate commits to a four-year obligation beginning as the Vice President-Elect who will take office at the 2018 CSCA meeting, plan the Pre-Conference for 2019, plan the 2020 annual convention in Chicago as Vice President, and then plan the Undergraduate Honors Conference in 2021 as President. The successful candidate will finish out the term with one year as Past President on the executive committee. This position will be elected by the full organization in the fall of 2017.

Executive Committee Member-at-Large: This person serves for a two-year term on the CSCA Executive Committee, providing governance for the organization. The person elected will take office at the 2018 CSCA convention and rotate out of service at the 2019 meeting. This position will be elected by the full organization this fall.

To self nominate, please send a short letter of interest and an abbreviated vita (5 pages max) to Brad Mello, CSCA Nominating Committee chair (mello@sxu.edu). If you wish to nominate another member, please have them send their letter of interest and vita to you. Completed application packets should then be forwarded to the email address previously listed. 

Please have all submission materials to Brad Mello no later than January 16, 2017

This year’s CSCA Nominating Committee members include Brad Mello (Chair), Autumn Edwards (Vice-Chair), Karla Mason Bergen, Tim McKenna-Buchanan, Jimmie Manning (ex-officio, non-voting member), and Cheri Simonds.
