CSCA 2018 Convention - Public Relations Division

Dear PR Colleagues,

As you all wind down another spring semester, I want to encourage you to think about presenting your work for the PR Division at Central States 2018 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Our theme for 2018 is “Difference.” Our deadline this year for submission is October 9, 2017.

In our division business meeting this year, we discussed several potential panel ideas for the conference. Specifically, I would like to encourage you to put panels together that include non-academic PR professionals. Dr. Aldridge Sanford worked with the executive committee so that non-academic presenters will not need to pay registration fees unless their involvement in the conference extends beyond their presentation. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the relationships we are building with PR professionals in our classroom.
