CSCA 2019 Convention - Public Relations Interest Group Reminders

Hello PR Interest Group Members and Potential Members!

Thank you for your commitment to expanding our knowledge of public relations and strategic communication.

If you haven’t done so yet, please remember to select the Public Relations Interest Group when you register for the conference. Doing so is important because it demonstrates the commitment CSCA members have to our interest group through membership alongside the great submissions we received this year.

Our interest group is devoted to very current and pressing issues, which we will feature in Omaha. Our top papers panel highlights the expanding scope and importance of crisis communication scholarship, responding to misinformation, and the transitioning landscape of public relations. Our members are truly on the forefront of public relations scholarship, and I hope you will be able to attend the panel to hear about this great work.

Please also plan to attend our business meeting on Thursday at 2 p.m., directly following our top papers panel. We will be discussing strategies for how we may better reflect the breadth of what we study to the rest of the association.
