CSCA - Announces the Appointment of Dr. Tiffany Wang to Executive Director

Hello CSCA members…

I am pleased to announce that the CSCA Executive Committee interviewed candidates for our Executive Director position and have selected Dr. Tiffany Wang to serve in this important role. She will work closely with our current Executive Director, Dr. Chad Edwards, over the next year and officially transition on July 1, 2020. Tiffany R. Wang (Ph.D., University of Nebraska-Lincoln) is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies at the University of Montevallo where she explores communication surrounding college transition within instructional and family contexts. Her work has been featured in journals such as Communication Education, Communication Reports, Communication Teacher, Journal of Communication Pedagogy, The Journal of Continuing Higher Education, Journal of Divorce & Remarriage, and Journal of Family Communication. She has presented over 60 presentations at state, regional, and national conferences. She received Central States Communication Association’s (CSCA) 2017 Outstanding New Teacher Award. She has served as Chair of the CSCA Basic Course, Communication Education, and Interpersonal and Small Group Communication Interest Groups. She has also served as Chair of the National Communication Association (NCA) Basic Course Division and currently serves as Chair of the NCA Instructional Development Division.
