Borders & Breakthroughs

The Instructional Resources Interest Group invites the submission of individual papers, paper panels, and roundtable discussions for the 2020 CSCA convention in Chicago, Illinois. The purpose of the Instructional Resources Interest Group is to promote the interest of all forms of instructional technology, resource materials, and research which enhance classroom instruction for faculty and students. Topics encompassing the conference theme of Borders & Breakthroughs are welcome, and we especially encourage members to address issues related to the convention theme. A border is a demarcation – geographic, political, conceptual, linguistic, etc. that separates one thing from something else. Breakthroughs transcend borders and create new possibilities for inquiry, teaching, learning, relating, and serving.

In terms of panels, preference will be given to those with panelists representing multiple institutions rather than representing a single institution. Participate in our Facebook group ( to join other’s panels and gain more diversity in your own submission(s).

Awards: The Instructional Resources Interest Group presents two awards: top paper award and top panel award. Each includes a certificate and a $50.00 prize.
