Inspire
The Instructional Resources Interest Group invites the submission of competitive papers, paper panels, discussion panels, and innovative programming for the 2021 CSCA convention in Cincinnati, Ohio. Members of the Instructional Resources Interest Group are interested in all forms of instructional technology, resource materials, and research which enhance classroom instruction.
A range of topics encompassing all forms of instructional resources are welcome, and we especially encourage members to address issues related to the convention theme, Inspire.
In terms of panels, preference will be given to those with panelists representing multiple institutions rather than representing a single institution. All potential presenters are encouraged to create a profile on the CSCA convention webpage. Membership is NOT required to create a profile.
When submitting your paper or panel proposal, please adhere to the following submission details:
Competitive Papers: Only completed papers will be accepted.
- Include a title and a brief abstract (required).
- Author’s name and other identifying information MUST be removed from the document prior to submission.
- Grad students should type “STUDENT” on the upper right-hand corner of the title page.
- If the paper will be a graduate student debut, please type “DEBUT STUDENT” on the upper right-hand corner of the title page.
- To be considered a graduate student debut paper:
- the author must be a graduate student,
- the paper must have single authorship, and the paper must be the author’s first paper to be presented at CSCA.
Paper Panels:
- If you are proposing a panel with papers on the same specific topic, be sure to include each author’s name, institution, paper title and a brief abstract (required).
- If your proposed paper panel has identified a panel chair, please include that individual’s name and institution.
- Chairs for paper panels should NOT be presenters.
- Grad students should type “STUDENT” on the upper right-hand corner of the title page.
- If the paper will be a graduate student debut, please type “DEBUT STUDENT” on the upper right-hand corner of the title page.
- To be considered a graduate student debut paper:
- the author must be a graduate student,
- the paper must have single authorship, and the paper must be the author’s first paper to be presented at CSCA.
Discussion Panels
- Include each participant’s name, institution, and a brief abstract for the panel (required).
- If your proposed discussion panel has identified a panel chair, please include that individual’s name and institution, as well.
All technology requests MUST be made at the time of submission.
Submissions MUST be received by 11:59 PM, CDT, October 9, 2020.
