CSCA 2023 Convention - Organizational and Professional Communication Interest Group Reminder ... Call for Papers and Panels
This is a reminder that in just under a month (October 7th at 11:59pm), submissions are due for the 2023 CSCA Convention in St. Louis, MO. The Organizational and Professional Communication Interest Group invites the submission of competitive papers, research in progress extended abstracts, panels, and roundtable discussions. We welcome any topic related to organizational and professional communication. Details about the call and guidelines for submissions can be found here:https://csca-net.org/aws/CSCA/pt/sd/news_article/449573/_PARENT/layout_details/false
In Madison, we discussed many ideas for panels that fit within the theme of “Intersections, Transitions, and Silenced Voices.” A few highlighted ideas include:
- Burnout in higher education and the often silenced voices in that context.
- The intersection of various people in the workplace and how that affects DEI.
- Including different forms of presentations beyond panels. Possibly including photography/images of the workplace.
- Exploring life/student experiences and transitions to and from the workplace.
The Top Competitive Paper, the Top Student Paper, and the Top Panel will be recognized at the Interest Group Meeting.
If you have questions, please contact me at email@example.com. I look forward to hearing your ideas and seeing your submissions for the 2023 conference!
