CSCA 2025 ... Performance and Autoethnography Interest Group Updates

Hello Performance and Autoethnography Members!

It is hard to believe that “Widening the Scope” will be kicking off in two weeks in Cincinnati. The Performance and Autoethnography Interest Group will be holding our Business meeting on Saturday, April 5 at 9:30 am in Salon F. The business meeting will be followed by our Top Paper Panel (11:00 am to 12:15 pm).

Our panels start at 8:00 am Thursday, April 3 in Caprice 1 with the panel, Memorial Art in Rhetorical Discourse.

The interest group’s top panel, Unraveling the Personal: Autoethnographic Insights into Romantic Relationship Dissolution, is scheduled for 12:30 pm on Saturday.

We will be holding elections for a secretary/vice chair/chair. This is a 3-year commitment to the interest group. You will begin in 2026 as the secretary, serve as vice chair in 2027, where you will attend a planner’s meeting at CSCA, and plan the 2028 conference as chair. If you are interested, please send an email to Sarah LeBlanc (leblancs@pfw.edu; current chair by Monday, March 31). Nominations and elections will take place during the business meeting.
