CSCA 2025 ... Org & Professional Comm & Health Comm IG Updates
Hello OPC Members!
We are excited to see all of you in Cincinnati next week. As you plan you conference, we want to draw your attention to a few things (in order of appearance):
- The OPC Top Discussion Panel, Communicatively Organizing the Body: Identity Construction, Surveillance, Resistance, and Embodiment, is bright and early Thursday morning (8:00 am in Salon B).
- This year, we partnered with the Health Communication Interest Group on the OPC Tour! The Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Medical Center tour and no-host happy hour at March First Brewing starts at 3:00 on Friday. If you are interested in attending, please fill out this form. Everyone is welcome, but advanced registration is requested. Contact our Tour Liaisons, Anne Kerber (kerber@mnsu.edu) and Jessica Rick (jmrick@ilstu.edu) with any questions.
- The OPC Business Meeting is on Saturday from 11:00 - 12:15 in Salon I. There, we will acknowledge top papers, top panels, and reviewers, vote on our OPC Tour Liaison position, discuss voting procedures, elect officers, and discuss CSCA 2026. Here is our agenda and last year's minutes.
- The OPC Top Papers panel will follow the business meeting in the same location (Saturday from 12:30 - 1:45 in Salon I). We hope you can join us to see some of the incredible research coming out of our interest group this year!
