CSCA 2017 Convention - Women's Caucus Final Reminders

Hello, Women’s Caucus Members!

I hope this finds you doing well. CSCA is coming up quickly. This is a reminder to register for the conference, if you haven't already. Also as a reminder:

1) You'll find our Women's Caucus panels listed below. We hope to see you at them!

2) Here is more information about our outreach project this year. The Women's Caucus has chosen the Tubman Center in Minneapolis to be the recipient of this year's community outreach project. Tubman (www.tubman.org) addresses dating and domestic violence prevention and offers a wide variety of support programs for women and children. We will participate in their diaper drive called "April Showers" (http://www.tubman.org/events/april-showers.html). Donations of diapers and other baby items are requested, although if you are coming from a distance, cash donations will also be welcomed. A representative of the group will come out on the day of our WC business meeting on Saturday at 2:00 pm to accept our donations. If you are unable to attend the business meeting, please get your contribution to another member of the WC. You can contact Dr. Karla Mason Bergen (kbergen@csm.edu) or Dr. Molly Wiant Cummins (mollywcummins@gmail.com) if you want/need to arrange a different time to make a donation.

3) Lastly, this is a final reminder to please read over our bylaws (http://csca-net.org/aws/CSCA/asset_manager/get_file/78203?ver=7066) so we can discuss whether or not to add a Top Student Paper Award.

See you in Minneapolis!
