We'd love for you to join us for this year's Organizational and Professional Communication Interest Group Annual Tour, co-sponsored with the Sports Communication Interest Group!
We're heading to A Bar of Their Own (ABOTO), which opened in March 2024 as the first sports bar in the Midwest — and only the second in the nation — dedicated exclusively to women's sports. Since opening, ABOTO has become part of a rapidly growing movement of inclusive spaces championing women's athletics at every level. ABOTO founder Jillian Hiscock will be there to share the story behind the bar, the rise of similar spaces nationwide, and how ABOTO engages with its community. There's no cost to attend.
